Steel universal columns (UC), commonly referred to as H-Section Beams, are excellent for dampening and resisting the immense force placed upon them. Suitable for vertical use for supporting heavy loads, such as columns for multistory buildings, steel universal columns are an essential for any project.
The parallel flanges ensure the beam can resist pressure to avoid bending, and they also have the additional benefit of being easier to connect than Universal/RSJ Beams due to the lack of tapered washers - which are not required.
